Church Leadership

Elders are responsible for the Oversight of the ministry of the Word of God and the pastoral care of the Church.

There is currently one Elder, who is supported by two Deacons serving on the Oversight of the Church.

Confession of Faith

We believe in:

The Bible

The books of the Old and New Testament Scriptures. Every word was inspired by God through human authors, so that the Bible as originally given is in its entirety the Word of God and is infallible without error. The Bible alone speaks with final authority and is always sufficient for all matters of belief and practice.

God

There is one God who exists eternally in three distinct but equal Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God is unchangeable in His holiness, justice, wisdom and love. He is the almighty Creator, Saviour and Judge who sustains and governs all things according to His sovereign will, for His glory.

The Lord Jesus Christ

The Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of a virgin, and lived a sinless life in obedience to the Father. We believe in the authority of His teaching and infallibility of all his words. On the Cross He died in the place of sinners, bearing God’s punishment for their sin, redeeming them by His blood. He rose from the dead and in His resurrection body ascended into heaven, where He is exalted Lord of all.

He is the only eternal mediator between God and man. He intercedes for His people at the right hand of the Father, and will personally return in power and glory.

The Holy Spirit

The Deity of the Holy Spirit, who proceeds eternally from the Father and the Son, and by Him alone the soul is convicted of sin and brought to a position of repentance and saving faith.

He imparts spiritual life and gives true understanding of the Scriptures. He indwells all believers, bringing assurance of salvation and by Him they are sanctified through the truth and empowered for service. His work is essential in the preaching of the Word and in worship.
